OPEN SUMMER / As Senior Art Director on the Coca-Cola global account at Wieden+Kennedy, I played a key role in bringing this summer campaign to life. In an bold move, we temporarily shut down coca-cola.com to encourage people to disconnect from the internet and enjoy the outdoors during the summer. This idea anticipated the spirit of REI's #OptOutside campaign by four years. Shot on location by Chivo in Uruguay, the campaign celebrates the opening up from spring to summer, both literally and poetically.

Hal Curtis taught me that true creative leadership means not just delivering exceptional work, but also guiding clients with patience, humor, and the occasional well-timed pep talk when their demands seemed impossible.
